Lyn Kristoff

Lyn was born and raised in Saskatchewan, where she was a Chartered Professional Accountant.  Her career allowed her no time for artistic thoughts  but after moving to Summerland in 2017 her creativity blossomed. In retirement she took up various artistic endeavours and eventually settled on acrylic painting as her preferred medium. Lyn belongs to the Summerland Art Club and is looking forward to the reopening of the club workshop this fall.

Lyn recently had an extended vacation to New Zealand, an island of immense natural beauty. Much of her work during the past six months has a New Zealand theme. One of the common greetings in New Zealand is Kia Ora, meaning “have life”, “be healthy” and “vitality”. Her work always has bright vibrant colour and she enjoys bringing nature to the canvas.

Lyn has converted the walkout lower level of her home to an art studio and gallery.  Private showings can be arranged by contacting the Summerland Community Arts Council.
