The Summerland Community Arts Council is pleased to once again work with the District of Summerland to present an opportunity for community members and local artists to provide original designs for our 2024 Banner Program.
The 2024 theme, Holiday Magic, calls upon artists to share their interpretations of the holidays, winter, snowy scenes, the charm of outdoor activities and how they are represented in our beautiful community.
We'd love to get submissions from kids ages 6 - 14 too!
This is a juried program, with District of Summerland Councillors volunteering their time and expertise to selet the ten most fitting designs submitted. These designs will be enlarged and professionally printed on 24" x 60" high quality banners that will be displayed in our community for years to come.
Artists whose designs are selected will receive an honorarium in exchange for the exclusive rights of the Summerland Community Arts Council to print the design for any purpose the Council desires. Artists will retain the rights to their original design.
Designs must be submitted by August 31st, 2024 to admin@summerlandarts.com
Please include your name and phone number in the email along with your submission. Chosen designs will be announced on September 27th, 2024.
