Greta Kamp's great admiration for nature and her sensitivity to conservation have been a constant inspiration for her art.  Living in Penticton in the beautiful Okanagan Greta believes she is living an artist's dream.

Greta majored in art at the University of Calgary and studied advanced oil painting at the Alberta College of Art and Design. 

Greta has received many awards for her art including being chosen for the annual Canadian Limited Edition Plate.  In 2000 she won the McAra Award and prints of her heritage painting were distributed internationally.  Greta was juried into the Federation
of Canadian Artists in 2010 and subsequently two of her paintings were awarded Juror's Choice.  She has also won People's Choice. Her work has regularly been in the Calgary Stampede Western Art Auction. She was chosen runner up for the B.C. Federation of Wildlife Artist of the Year, and commissioned by various wineries in the Okanagan.
