The Federation of Canadian Artists (FCA)

The Federation of Canadian Artists (FCA), celebrating it's 83rd anniversary, consists of professional and emerging artists seeking the highest level of artwork from its members. It is the largest national art organization, started by professionals and some members of "The Group of Seven".

The South Okanagan-Similkameen chapter of the Federation of Canadian Artists (FCA-SOS) is a community of over 85 professional and emerging artists from Summerland, Penticton, Naramata, Kaleden, Okanagan Falls, Oliver, Osoyoos, Keremeos, Cawston, Princeton and Rock Creek. Chapter activities include monthly meetings, demonstrations, critiques, juried and non-juried shows, workshops and events promoting artwork to support member artists in the community. This local chapter has been active for nearly 25 years with many members practicing their art, making sales, receiving recognition/awards for over 50 years across Canada and the world.

The theme of the FCA's show is "Our Connections in Life" and is reflected in many styles and interest of artists.
