The URBA (Uptown Rutland Business Association) is thrilled to announce the ART At The ROXBY Outdoor Art Gallery happening every weekend throughout the summer at the Roxby Plaza in Rutland. ART At The ROXBY is a unique event that is not currently offered anywhere else within the city of Kelowna. This will be a wonderful visual arts experience with the opportunity to meet local artists and watch the creative process take place. ART At The ROXBY is an innovative way to bring art out to the public, no longer limiting the viewing of art to galleries and mseums. The open air gallery is here for everyone to enjoy and anyone is welcome to walk by the vibrant art filled gallery. The event will display a wide range of mediums from local artists. ART At The ROXBY provides an exciting opportunity for artists to not only to display and sell their work but also to put on workshops and demonstrations, while bringing art and culture to the Rutland neighbourhood. Artists have the choice to participate for one day, Saturday or Sunday or both days in any one weekend or up to all nine weekends throughout the event. Artists pay only for the days their work is on display. The event will take place Saturday and Sundays 10am – 5pm from June 30th through to August 26th.
